Brookfield Farm Sausages
We make our own sausages using our special blend of herbs and spices. All our sausages
contain a minimum of 75% meat and are encased in natural skins.

This sausage recipe was put together in conjunction with the breakfast crew
from Hertbeat radio station, who even came and had a go at making them.
If you're not sure which sausages you might like, don't worry as we regularly have free
sausage tasting days where you can try a selection of our sausages and decide which ones
you do like.
Syn Free Sausages.
At 18 and a half stone this photo was taken, and looking at it made me want to lose weight. My partner Laura also decided to lose weight after
the birth of our daughter, so she joined 'Slimming World'. When she came home after her first class and explained about 'Syns' and what she
could and couldn't eat on the diet, I was amazed with how much she could actually eat!
Laura explained that she really wanted to eat sausages and was looking at buying some from the supermarket as a low fat version was available
to be bought on the diet. This is when I said, "I'm not eating supermarket sausages, I'll make some of my own!" So I did this, using only lean
pork and a carefully selected herb mix with no MSG or any other chemicals, which were in most other products I'd compared in the supermarkets.
Laura then mentioned that her class were doing a 'tasting evening'. This is when all members cook something for everyone to try. I made some
sausage meat as above, and Laura cooked this and took it to the taste evening. When she got back she said everyone loved them and wanted to
buy them, but they also wanted to know if they had a syn value. I then sent samples of the sausage I had made off for analysis, and the
results came back as 'Syn Free' for both the sausages and the sausage meat.
Both myself and all at Laura's Slimming World class were over the moon with the results as they could now enjoy a really tasty and high
quality sausage on their diet. In fact most members families eat them as well as those requiring them for the syn free values!
I spend a lot of time ensuring that the sausages are consistently at the receipe sent off for analysis and I am very proud that this product
is in our shop and is available for you to buy and to enjoy.
I have lost 4 and a half stone and Laura has lost almost 2 stone by eating healthily. So I have an understanding of the weight loss journey
